about

Cpl. Kipper’s Barnsley Trades Club Turn was originally released in late 2010, prior to the departure of fellow founder-band member Danny Doonican in early 2011 and Alan Doonican #1 in late 2014.

This ‘Kipper Revisited’ version of our first album features new or improved versions of the songs from the original album. Some of the original instrument tracks from the 2010 recordings remain, but I went back and added extra vocals and instrument tracks in November 2016 so that the album now sounds how I originally envisaged it should.

This album was the start of our daft little band moving in a more comedy-based direction; something we are still doing as we approach our 11th year as a band. Hopefully this collection of songs abart Tarn still stands up 6 years on...

Enjoy the journey,
Scott Doonican - December 2016
