After doing our first two Rock n Roll Circus shows at Birdwell for Barnsley Hospice, we wanted to take the show on 'tour' for one-night-only...

The result was The Bar-Steward Sons of Val Doonican's Travelling Rock n Roll Circus, which featured a stripped-down line-up from the original two shows, including Richard Kitson, The Yorkshire Musical Saw Player, Eurobee & The Flower Peeps, Jonathan Francis and sketches from The Ostrich Boys.

The show raised a load of money for Sheffield's Children's Hospital, and when the Bar-Stewards finally hit the stage, this album became the result.

Nevertheless, with all these great musicians hanging about backstage it was inevitable that there'd have to be a big jam session at the end of the night!
